Meh I feel that if the technology is used to help people (slightly modifying genetic code so the body accepts a transplant better or repairing damage from a defect or illness) the there is no problem with it. With all technologies, either biological or technical, there are boundries. If we start creating super soldiers or a genetically modified slave race then we've well crossed the line...
