Is their a way to unlink files and directories that you may have created symbolic or hard links to?

Hrmmm...I've looked into that as well and as far as I know there isn't a specific command to unlink files or directories So what I do is just rm -f the link and that's that.

True, as well maybe a type of manager program could do it for you... What is it, Midnight commander might (not sure, would have to check).
