Security firm Websense has found that hackers could exploit a loophole opened on a system once Sony's uninstaller for their copyright protection software has been utilised. So far, only proof of concept attacks has been found.

Hackers have set up Web sites to exploit the loophole, and when uninstaller users visit those Web sites, malicious hacks can take control of the computer. Sony BMG has been blasted for the last week for its copyright protection software.

Websense has released a tool to close the loophole.
