Snoop will be attending a rally this Saturday outside San Quentin State Prison to support a former gang leader to be executed Dec 13th. The gang leader, Stanley Tookie Williams, was sentenced to death in 1981 for killing 4 people in two LA robberies.

Williams was co-founder of the Crips. While on death row, Williams has earned recognition for his children's books urging children to stay out of gangs. Other peaceful prison teachings have earned Williams several Nobel Prize nominations.

An award winning movie about Williams life, "Redemption" starring Jamie Foxx has drawn attention to his case. Over a dozen other rallies are to take place around CA. There will also be a constant vigil at the prison from Dec. 4th until the execution.

sure he killed 4 people, but c'mon, he's writing children's books and putting out his wisdom. And they want him to kill him. C'mon, why does the legal system have to be so brutal?!? It doesn't matter if you realize what you did was wrong and you add that to your list of problems, no you have to get the same back to you. I wonder if you could purchase crime from the system. I mean it makes sense, they have a punishment for a crime, why not just go through the punishment in order to complete a crime if you really wanted to. Get them to kill me so i could kill someone else. don't know who. but hey at least i'd have the option. or maybe speeding tickets. if i planned on speeding to work i could just pay a fine and enjoy speeding on the road.

it's due to the fact that when he was sentanced he WASNT doing all that goodie goodie stuff. sentances dont change after the fact. yes people can change but he killed someone and thus needs to be punished accourding to the law of the state.

Guy was directly and indirectly responsible for causing more damage to our society than a million children's books could ever fix.

Also, here is a link to a list of his behavior in prison LINK

i just wonder about how he conceptualizes. I mean any individual has means for doing this or that. He's not crazy, he's in an extreme state of mind on a tangent totally off the grid. He's still human. he's got dynamics. Wouldn't anyone be interested in his life analysis? granted there's little hope for him now with the rigidity of the law. i suppose i'm a bit off topic, but just because he's done these things shouldn't mean he's completely disregarded and labeled by society.

Life Analysis? He was sentenced to the death penalty. If they had just used a damn bullet and done it in the courtroom, he wouldn't even be around for people to discuss now.

oh come on, this guy is turning his entire life around, and trying to help society. he realizes what he did was wrong, and is now trying to teach kids not to make the same mistake.

Right now, he is the BEST way to fight crime in the US. No one listens to DARE or their parents, but people definitely would, and do, listen to a gangsta who has changed his ways. Listen to the po po or a thug who's killed many a person?

i'm not saying what this guy did was right by any means, but instead of killin him we could put him to good use

and also, Snoop D o double g is the man. he only kills when he gotta, and he knows where them bitches belong. CPT, LBG, AWD 4eva mutha fucka.

Eye For An Eye.

He took life, and that's just rude.
But, that's just what I think.
