The photo's somewhat suck, but they're the first real glimpse at the game since last year at E3.
I never expected multiplayer, as Metroid just isn't really a multiplayer game, but I have to say that the prospect of online co-op sounds good, as I've yet to actually use my broadband adapter.
Here's hoping it doesn't have as much backtracking as the first Metroid Prime.
There will be about as much backtracking. No co-op, just 4xSamus Deathmatch. There's a lot of stuff to check out on the game available for view at GameSpot, or you could just wait 2 more days to go rent it.
