I played the piano for a while, but when I hit eigth grade I decided it wasn't "the cool thing to do." so i quit. and now (like 5 years later) i'm just starting to get into it again. It's so irritating trying to play something that I know I used to be able to play perfectyl and screwin up like mad. by the way, anybody know a website where i could get some free metallica or other rock sheet music translated to piano?

drake, i don't think you'll be able to find anything quite like what your asking, however...Find a book that shows you the names of guitar strings and what note is on each fret. Then go to one of the many many sites that has guitar tabs. Print off some tabs and transpose it to play on the piano. You won't really need to do much since the piano and guitar are on the same clef, you'll just need to figured out whether it's a high D or a low D, etc. You'll probably even be able to play chords on the piano too. It's not hard really; I transposed the intro to "Enter Sandman" to play on my cello and the cello is played in bass clef.

SR, which do you have? I have "Plays Metallica by 4 Cellos" and "Inquisition Symphony". The only store that even sells them here is Borders. btw, shh! I'm trying to get him to learn something!
