anybody listen to any good music lately? pick up any good cds? lets talk music

like, what the fuck...so much good music it seems like in the past couple years. no boybands and lots of good alt-rock

I was diassapointed in the new outkast cd though, I dunno I expected something much different from what I got...whatever though

the new Jay-Z cd though, wow. most of you probably don't have any interest in him, but shit...go out and buy it.

here's something else, anybody notice how all the good music came from the 90's? like shit...bush, nirvana, nin, violent femmes, 311, sublime, rem, rage against the machine, butthole surfers, primative radio gods, public enemy, oasis, even snoop dogg...that's where my memories are

I'm noticing some good shit coming out of Britain too...like I dunno if you guys are into trip-hop but all that shit coming out of Bristol makes me happy (Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky, Morcheeba)
even british pop is sounding good, like athlete or grandadbob

I keep trying to burn the postal service cd, cause one of my friends jacked my other copy and it keeps fucking up...it's pissing me off like this shit burns one cd correctly and the next one is fubar

yea, jay-z is allways excellent!!!!!!!!!!!! how about dance hall and reggae, not just sean paul but the others like lexxus, sizzla, beanie man ,elephant man etc. ?

now, i know everyone says that Evanescence is just "linkin park with a girl singer" but they're not. if you listen to the lyrics they are so fucking awesome. i am actually really starting to love that band.

as for other music: i'm still sticking mainly to my DM and NIN. oh yeah.. Placebo is still a favorite. oh, ya'll should check out Tweaker. it's Chris Vrenna's (from NIN) solo project. it's really good stuff. oh, i guess i do have my guilty pleasure band that i am fully aware of that they suck. i still like 'em though. it's almost embarassing. oh well.
um... Social Distortion is another must have. And the smiths... and OMD...and pretty much any decent 80s music. 80s music is the best! da 80s muzick rulz!

yes yes placebo is very good....our lady peace-is anybody home is definately an all time favorite. i agree on evanescence's lyrics...they're very good, altho i'm not to fond of the music and the vocals, but i'm always one to look for lyrics rather then sound...but thats just me. i dont know about the 80z music tho....

aww.. 80s music is fabulous. some of it sucks ass.. shit like Wham! or The Go Gos pisses me off. but a lot of the 80s tuneage is infinitly excellent

I didn't buy them, because they have the "For Promotional Use Only, Sale Or Other Transfer..bla bla bla." On them. Because I got them from a family member who is good with recording ppl. I listen to them on my laptop. I listen to a bunch of different music, everything pretty much, except country, and some pop. Blue Oyster Cult is always good. I like hard lyrics, and smash your head dizzy guitar/drum music(PoD, Linkin Park, Blink182, NiN, Evanescence, RATM, all that.) Hope that works for you Imperial

disgruntled: the go gos piss me off because they just overall suck ass. they are dirty little drunken whores. plus their music sucks. if i'm going to listen to music, it's going to be good stuff. well, with a few exceptions. (my guilty pleasure band that i won't admit to..JC keep your damn mouth shut!) i like music with meaning and feeling. that's why Depeche Mode is my all time favorite.

Radiohead is basically like one of the greatest bands of all time, they are amazing. Pedro the Lion fucking rules, awesome lyrics and his latest album "Control" is unbelievable. Doves have sick stuff, The Last Broadcast is a solid album. Coldplay is a great band, Jack Johnson and Ben Harper are amazing as well, awesome chill music with really good lyrics and soul. There's no way you could ever leave out The Beatles. Only the greatest band of all time, almost every single one of their albums is mind blowing, The White Album could have been if it was made better, but the songs on it are rad. There's some good hip-hop rihgt now too, Outkast and Missy Elliot are putting out some very good music. The Strokes new album is very very good, too bad Rancid's new album sucks, they've been going downhill, Dropkick Murphy's are rocking right now too though. If you want some awesome jazz, put on John Coltrane's "A Love Supreme", it's a rediculous jazz album. SO much good music, I love it, lol.

Coldplay is good, The Beatles are an all time favorite, Hey Jude, Imagine, All you need is love(doot dodododo), Eleanor Rigby, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band(doodlodododoodlododo, it was 20 years ago today, sgt pepper taught this band to play).

Yea I Liek the Beatles, I liek alot of old music, but I can never remember all the bands, the music video that had the neon skeletons, that was pimp. A google search for that should find it. I like sad songs, deep powerful spiritual songs, or hard fuckin make you dizzy like a orgasm songs(called a eargasm). The Strokes are coo, Coltrane is a favorite of many ppl, dood jazz fuckin owns bro:) I like your style bro, you have good taste.

oh, i have to take a minute out to trash Radiohead. true, i own the OK Computer album, that one is actually good. i don't totally dispise them or anything, i just think they are way over rated.
