My computer is in the same room I sleep in and Im one of those people that never turn it off. So at night the sound of those fans can get kinda annoying. You can just hook up a rheostat or potentiometer between the power and fan. Even easier in the newer cases where they use molex connectors for power to the fans. ~5W rheostat

or switch would also work just to straight kill it.

why don't you just turn it off through the night sinetific.. i'm also one of them who never turn it off but here we have problems with electricity. But i don't have any problems with fans.

well usually my computer will be doing tasks, downloads/uploads, or possibly hosting services. This is why I wont just turn it off through the night.

well mine does the same man things man.. but my problem is that here we have problems with electrity so it stops often you know.. so even if i leave it.. it'll probably shutdown itself from the power going off. Anywayz the downloads are queed.

so did u fix your fans prob ? i mean you thought of another solution or something ?
