I have here a new RSA DCM215 Digital Broadband Cable Modem, I say new since it was used for about a month back when I had AT&T@Home the first time.

Last I checked the modem worked perfectly, it was "misplaced" temperarily from @home.

It is approved to work on the present AT&T network without any problems.

It retails for $250 and I'm asking $100 plus shipping ($20 including insurance for shipment).

Well you may as well since cable will be available there eventually . I've heard that this model is quite easy to modify...

I even have some analog TV Boxes from most cable companies that I am going to list when I get the time to do some research :-x... Can we say descramblers :-x...

Comeon, I know one of you wants this! Immagine, most cable isp's charge you a $10-$20 modem fee, thats basically saving yourself money! in 5-10 months you'd have paid it off then you can pay less for your isp .

i saw a cable modem in the paper for 29.99, the motorolla surf board to be exact, thus you can take your hundred dolla asking price and shove it. don't bother to try and convince me the motorolla is no good, i already have one and am quite pleased.

lol wans't sayin motorola wasn't good, was pointing out that RCA's are the easiest to modify to get 4x what you're allowicated for dl's .

humf, but for the price of one rca, i could get 4 motorolas...not that that would make me dl any faster, but i'd sure feel good about myself

Curse, the DCM215 is what comic1 modifide and was using just as fast as a T1... bad thing is he was caught after 3 months of use, but it was worth it for a 5meg mimimum from a fast server ...

BS, its not an issue of pricing, its an issue of modifications... Thats a major reason why manufacturers upgrade items is because of illegal aftermarket mods.

BS, well that could be maybe, but listen, i live in Kosovo, you probably heard about this country in news, it was a war going on here 3 years ago, so the technology here is far away from the one in your country for example, so a lots of things can't be found here, e.g. i didn't see any PDA for sale anywhere in this country, so thats' why i'm looking forward to buy from outside, the cable, the lappy and everything else.
