The first combat rifle with the ability to shoot round corners has been invented by Amos Golan and developed by Israeli company Coral Gables. The firearm is designed for use primarily in urban warfare, where obstacles tend to be most problematic.

The concept was first thought of by Golan in the late eighties, after the failed storming of a building by soldiers during the first Palestinian uprising. Several troops were injured when shots were fired from within the room they were entering.

The rifle is made up of two halves hinged in the middle. A mini camera with a zoom lens is mounted on the front, with a small monitor situated further back. The front section can move through a 63 degree arc, left or right.
