Linux Source Code Broadcasted Live On the Radio

Free Radio Linux has already started to broadcast an unusual radio program: the entire Linux source code is read live on the Internet. The project will last around 500 days more.

The idea of the broadcast, meant to celebrate the open source anniversary on February 3, came from two New Zealanders, Hyde and Harger, who created the the site "radioqualia", where Free Linux Radio can be listened to.

"Some from the geek community really hated the project. They really thought it was a waste of resources and others were going, 'Wow, this is interesting. If this is art, then I kind of like it", says Hyde.
