Since his stunning loss to IBM's Deep Blue in 1997, chess champion Garry Kasparov has sworn revenge and is now set for a Sunday showdown against an Israeli chess program known as Deep Junior.
Kasparov, the highest ranked player in the history of chess, will attempt to redeem himself against Junior in a six match tournament stretching across at least six days.
Although Deep Blue commanded one hundred times the computing power of Junior, the software is much, much smarter and has the ability to play long term strategies very similar to human beings.
