International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officials have discovered "P-2" centrifuge parts "far superior, more sophisticated than anything" that Iran has admitted to having.
Iran admitts having a P-1, but a P-2 is capable of producing uranium more suitable for the production of nuclear weapons. Iran's Foreign Ministry said: "There are no P-2 centrifuges in Iran, either at civilian or military installations."
The White House has said that it is watching the developments and that the find "underscored our serious concerns. We have long said our belief is Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapons program under the cover of a civilian energy program."
