That's right, the North Koreans seem to feel The Diary of Anne Frank is a metaphor for American Warmongerism and that the war with the "American Nazi's" is inevitable.

Don't Believe me? Read it here!

i saw it on 60 minutes a little while ago. me and my girlfriend were just staring at it dumbfounded. i mean, i know there are ppl who aren't as supportive of the way America is right now...but even still. we watched as they would ask a question...then the teacher would tell the kids what to say. and the kids would repeat it word for word. everything they do is some form of hailing to their leader. and ppl are either well of, or starving. anyone who thinks that america is bad...take a look at north korea and ask yourself if you'd rather live there. now granted, most of my opinion is based loosely on things i've heard here and there, but most of my current POV on NK comes from watching that short about it. i believe one of the kids/teachers said something about going to war with the american communists to protect the proletariate (?sp?) not those exact words...but something along those lines. as well as rading the diary of anne frank and coming to the conclusion that she's a bad person b/c she didn't fight...she begged for food, and the kids in NK are being taught that the shouldn't...that they should let their pride get in the way of that. and that they should be giving their life for their leader. it's awful stuff. i don't mind the whole, willing to give your life for something greater...but it should be something to be proud of. when a country is telling you what to say, read, do...i don't see how you can be willing to give your life for it. well, that's brainwashign i guess. however, i really would like to hear if someone from this board is from North Korea...however, judging for what i know, they probably aren't aloud to go onto the internet except for certain pro-NK/anti-american sites. but for all i know...i could be completely wrong on this.//

Well my solution for the upcoming North Korean war is simple. We load up a squadren of bombers with food and drop it amongst groups of NK troops. They will drop their guns or fight eachother for the food.

NK is not at all as under funded as you might think. They have thier millitary together. While serving over there My commanding officer told us he looked across the DMZ(De-militerized Zone(border between north and south)) and saw the North Koreans had put up a sign. Happy 31st birthday Major Woodburry.

They run "training ops into south Keorea" all the time. We never hear about it because no one wants a war. US troops on the DMZ are excepected to last 5.7 seconds in an invasion. They have more land to air missles and anti aircraft missiles than you could ever imagine.

Laugh at them if you want. They are a very dangerous foe. Not to mention thier ally is China just to the north. China a MOST scary foe to have against you. Thier population cenceus is released something like 10 years after it is taken so no one ever knows the actual population.

Traditionaly the China fighter attacks in waves of humans. They throw more soldiers at you than you could ever possibly defend. That is not even mentioning thier HUGE weapon stock pile.

I read the article, it's pretty insane. They are using it to teach their children what it will be like for them when the U.S. attacks. Also, they are trying to convince them that building up a powerful military is the most important thing and they should sacrifice for the good of the country. Yet they consider Anne Frank a "loser" because she died or something like that (don't remember the exact quote). It's very disrespectful, but at the same time a very clever spin. As for the other part of this post: the troops themselves may be expected to last 5.7 seconds, but there are a hell of a lot of landmines between the two sides. China isn't gonna be backin North Korea if we decide to invade and all their shit comes out (labor camps, assassinations, etc.). Who knows though? It makes you wonder why we haven't gone after them in the first place (besides our President's apparent lack of any foreign policy skills whatsoever).
