Portuguese attackers, known as the "Outlaw group", have defaced a section of the Microsoft UK web site, according to the web defacement archive, Zone-H.org.

The attackers gained access to the section and left evidence of having being there.

SQL injection was used to gain access to the administration page of the site, according to Zone-H, which has a screenshot of the defacement.

The page appears to have been removed by the company but is still present in Google's cache.

Around two months ago, one of the sites on Microsoft's South Korean network was defaced by a Brazilian crew.
