Warner Bros. has announced that it will be launching a video game unit, called Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Inc. The new unit will be lead by Jason Hall, who previously worked for Monolith Productions Inc.
Monolith worked with WB to create a multi-player online game based on "The Matrix" films. Previously, WB has always worked with outside game developing companies to bring their products to the gaming world, including the huge Harry Potter franchise.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Inc will develop games for both the PC and consoles.
