RFID tags are going to be tested on kids in a primary school in Osaka, Japan. The tags will be placed on their clothing, schoolbags and name tags to keep track of them.

A similar test is already being performed on kids who go to the Legoland amusement park in Denmark. The idea is to monitor children more effectively so they don't get lost.

Plans are also underway to use the tags, usually used to keep track of supermarket inventory, to keep track of airline luggage.
