Back to the post i was wondering if there was anyway of getting the music off the internet radio stations and into my mp3 player or computer? Any ideas or sites? thanks for the help (and flames that will come with this post :p )

there are a few stations you can find through http://yp.shoutcast.com that host shoutcast servers that still distribute the songs they play on their site. But otherwise heh mp3's are still illegal, heh I mean...it's like phreaking..people stealing other's music, even though their horribly rich, and say shit liek "o it costs so much to make movies, and music. Yea...ya made 30mil on that movie 10 mil on the records, spent 30k of your own money, filled a pool with gold, then complained about ppl pirating your movies/music. Hmm, in dc I saw a while ago at the theatres that they had film set people complaining about it. Talking about what they did, and asking please don't pirate. That's what it's gotten to because they've learned well their dealing with a populaus that understands what's really going on. But kazaa lite is good for stuff, and um you can google for that, uh, the site above for players.

Anyway, now that weeve is done ranting Check out http://www.download.com in their audio/video section. There are programs that will connect to your stations and automatically download...the quality on most of those is shit though :x Unless you got some nice speakers/'phones 20kbps MP3s sound like they are being played through a tin can.

Ah fuck I lost my post, goddamn these buttons...Anyway, have you actually downloaded any songs using one of these program and listened to it, or did you just assume it was gonna be bad? Try that first, and see if it's listenable...Other than that, you can try and convert/reencode the MP3s-using something like dBpowerAMP-with a better bit rate, but I'm not sure how well that would work. Other than that, buy some better equipment cheap ass Perhaps Deffy or another board audiophile (if there is one) may have some suggestions.

i have a copy of cool edit, and i use a phisyical loop that i made that takes a line from the out put and splits it and sends one to the speakers and the other back in to the mic jack, it works pretty well, i just leave a streaming internet radio playing and it records into cool edit, than i can cut it up and fix it as i have time, and the quality is not bad,
