I was wondering today what would the best place/region of the world for one who is wanted by a government. A place where you could be safe from being found by agents or even local police co-operating with your former government to look for you. A place where you could start a new Idenity and no one would ever know your past crimes.
A couple of options came up. The Amazon and the Himalayas. Obviously I went for Isolation from the rest of the world. I was also thinking the complete opposite as an option, a place so crowded like India but then thought Isolated was better.
Where would you go if you had to leave everything and start anew?

And am I correct in assuming that you shouldn't check your emails again because it would track the ip of your log in and therefore allow you to be tracked to a country?

IF you have money, there are plenty of places in south america ;)...

As for browsing online, you'd want to ensure you're able to utilize items through private proxies as well as possibly a satelite internet connection...

South America huh? yeah, I think some war criminal ran to Argentina and was there for like 40 years before he got caught.
What about China. Would you feel safe there?

There's a lot of Nazi's in Brazil so i'd say if they can start over there then anyone one...

If you are not native, then you will have to save your pocket, head and even internal organs when you live in China. If your cries are related to Computers, thenbest place is Sri Lanka. There are no rules against hackers and crackers in Sri Lanka.
