Genarlow Wilson had a promising future until he was arrested and convicted of molesting a 15-year-old girl by Georgia state law. At the time of the incident Wilson was 17 years old.

The 15-year-old female was seen on a recorded video initiating oral sex on Wilson and other male schoolmates. Wilson was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison without parole.

The other male teenagers in the video are serving 5 years with possibility of parole due to a plea bargain. Wilson chose not to take the plea bargain as he did not want to be registered as a child molester. Attempts to free him have yet failed.

You know what this is. Someones mom or dad got pissed their daughter is a whore and pressed any charges they could. 17 and 15. Come on!!! That is typical at those ages. Girls go after older guys and guys accept it because when they were younger girls their age went after older guys.

We have 2 times as many people behind bars now as we had in 1985. 2 freaking times. We are locking people up for sleeping with their peers now.

what gets me is i was 16 and the guy i was with was 25. the police were aware of it and because i told them it was ok they looked the other way basically.

yea it is 1 of two things.

1.) the parents pushed the issue(where I would put m money)
2.) Some politician is thinking this will get him/her elected/re-elected

Here in OR, if you're over 13 no one give a shit... The neighbor kicked the everloving shit out of his daughter, she had to go to the hospetal, and it was obvious he had sex with her; she was 15, the state did nothing...
