Hello, havent been here in a long time wow..

anyway, my school is doing this thing, its called National History day where people compete with exhibits of a certain theme. This year, its "Rights and Responsibilities".

Well aside from cliched things like, women's right to vote, or the black people's manumission, me and my group wanted to do something unique, and we decided to do it on the the warez underground subculture...

So i was wondering if anyone has any links, or any knowledge of the history on warez or anything to do with the whole 'warez scene', it would be a lot of help. any insights, or comments, etc.. thanks.

That really isn't too interesting. Why not look at the beginning of phreaking. It is probably one of the most interesting starts on the internet and can deal more with rights than warez. Just a suggestion.

Agreed. Phreaking is definitely a better topic than 'warez d00ds.' heh

for my opinion, definitely Deffy. And now for links about phreaking and so on i'd probably suggest you talk to Gizmo, i bet he knows some shit and he can probably help you (if he wants).

Alright We lost a member today, gizmo. He hasnt had contact with us for awhile so i decided to replace him with a long time affiliate of ours, Cpio. He is a very skilled individual. He should be a vast improvement to the group.

i think BPs not so good english skills are evident right about now...BP, being a "kiss-ass" is the same as being a "suck-up". its the kid who stays after class to clean the teachers clalk board. its not a good thing and its not how you took it. its a bad thing. you really shouldnt suck up so much, it lowers your respect points.

well ohfuk you're maybe right coz you're the ones who should judge about my english skills but i know english i don't know every joke you guys use or too much slang if you understand me, even though i try my best to understand and learn better. You shouldn't change your attitude because people tell you to. You should do what you want. If ohfuk thinks you are being "too nice" then who cares. If that's who you are, don't change it because one person told you to.

you're right about that Mornse i mean about the thing that i shouldn't change my attitude just because someone else told me and i'm not doing that. I'll change a bit just to show that i can do that too just like everyone else but that's not me, i'm acting like i always do. it's just me.
