What do I do to find out every place my pc has been?

Every time i sell a computer that i've used i format it and low pass wipe it so that no one can retrieve info then i reinstall everything and sell it...

You're reffering to all the websites that have been accessed? If so they should be located in the .dat files, and in the swap file I think.

Go to download.com and look for spector2.0
and it will snap images and key strokes.
Its cool because you can put in stealth mode and there is no trace thats its even running on the machine.

Websites and what not are located in the history folder, and as long as the person had them enabled, in the cookies (yum)

The folders are located at different places on different versions of windows. I've got Win2k, and you probably don't have it, so my cookies and history are in a weird place because of multiple users.

I'm sure someone else could tell you the location of the two folders.

for old internet sites and shit u could search c:\windows\temporary internet files\content.IE5, type all this in at the find prompt and u get all the shit that youve been to *slashes must go that way....*

I don't even know what the hell is going on here. I thought i did til i got to the replies. She says she is talking about current owners...but wouldn't they be the current owners of their computer? Think about it man. This is a chick wanting to know every where HER computer has been on the net.... Why would anyone care???? Unless is is a chick checking up on her man. Let me put it this way. Would you all the sudden need to find out what site you home computer has been on? What reasons do you think a person has to have such an intrest. This is an over controlling girlfreind or wife.

I am a wife you guessed it and a mother of three I work a lot and I need to know my kids, who are very young ,have not been anywhere they shouldn't go.They may be young but they know how to search on the internet.
As for temporary internet files they get deleted on a regular basis and I was asking about hard drive.
I've been to the USER file and found interesting things but there doesnt seem to be any dates and it is in code(most of it).
I get told all day long that I am super hot so if I am so hot why would my man be cheating?
