Hey people, I apologize for this stupid newbie question....

I have port scanned IPs, etc, but how do I dial into the system? I found the ports, but I just want to know how to dial in, do I use IPs on something or what?

I would agree with unreal. Do not waste time on doing random number ranges. Scan telephone ranges of large businesses. I still find alot belonging to hospitals and retail stores. I can list the few companies I know here that have Remote Access Dialin also.

So they are around, its just not quite as prevalent as it used to be, so start looking in a more specific place. And no, don't reply asking where.

I think maybe he's just using the wrong language for what he actually wants to do? Or maybe I'm just confused. But by dial-in, maybe you just mean connect to the computer, ShadowNinja? If that is the case, on the port that you find open on a certain IP, you'll want to use a program called Telnet to connect to it. If you're on windows go Start->Run and type in Telnet, then read the instructions. If this is not what he meant and everyone else who already posted is right, then my bad, sorry for the wasted post.
