1.) You need to brush up on the spelling. No offense intended though.

2.) Make sure nothing is running on whatever port subseven would run on if it was installed on your system.

3.) If it is installed, then just give your system a good cleaning with Norton, PC-Cillin, or some other virus scanner. Should work.

There are also tools on the internet which will clean ONLY subseven. You might wanna try mcafee.com or something, they might have a quick fix.

i think there is a program out called "trojan cleaner" or sumthing along those lines... it think its a trial version u can download for free (or crack it) but u only need to run it once. Try and look it up... i think i used it back in the day to get rid of netbus.

I know this sounds dumb, but make sure the alerts you are getting from your firewall are from actual sub7 activity, such as outgoing traffic. My dad started to [censored] that hackers were suing subseveb and netbus on him after he set up his firewall becuase every day at least once it would say someone was scanning him for it....just becuase you are getting scanned for it doesn't mean you are a victim of it.

Your not being "attacked". i think ive figured it out. its all i big conspiracy by symanntec to get you to think your pc is vulnerable so you will buy more security programs. Your just being scanned. BEING SCANNED IS NOT AN ATTACK! Denial of service, buffer overflows, and other exploitations are attacks, scanning is just looking nothing more just looking, port sweeping or scanning is very common, true it could be a precursor to an attack, but usually its nothing. your network is probably ping sweeped once an hour, if port 27374(i think) is included in the scan symantec came up with this idea to make you paranoid and tell you some one trying to use subseven on your computer. Which could be true, but i doubt it becuase if your as noid as I think you are you probably got a virus scanner before you got a firewall and that should pick up sub7 if its running on your computer at all.

OK, first get trojan hunter from www.download.com.
Update it and run a scan. That'll make sure you have no trojans or viruses or whatever on your system.
What your firewall is probably trying to tell you is that someone is scanning you to see if you have sub7 on your computer. If that's the case it doesn't necessarily mean you have sub7 or are being attacked with it. It could be just some lamer trying to use sub7 on you, or it could be someone using a scanner to see if it's on your system.

Sub7 is only the most frequent but the firewall does detect other trojans such as netbus, back orrifice and very rarely hack 'a' tack. Im not much of wizz kid like you guys but im not sure wether someone just got my ip adress from a site a eneterd it in the connect to ip box (or can they do that?) because i can't remember opening and .exe files which i didnt scan since i reformatted my pc. And why do they want me!!??

Search www.google.com or www.yahoo.com for "Sub 7 Cleaner" or "Sub7 Cleaner" you'll find a few, be sure to virus scan them first though :x.

I am starting to wonder if you actually read our responses to your post

Three people told you that it probably did not have sub7 or any other trojen and one person gave you a solution, not to mention Gizmo's solution(can't count that against you becuase it was after your last post).

first, drill a hole in the side of your comp's tower. then, pour in gasoline and light a match near the tower, but be careful not to light the tower on fire. Just get a little smoke going. Next, put baking soda and cooking oil in the hole.
Congratulations, you have succefully cleaned your PC!
