Well I can't help you, but I think it is kind of funny...that after all these times i have told some kid to shut up and go away for asking for game cd keys, i actually need mine to install my own game, ha to format. Anyways, hope someone helps you, i don't really know anything.

i have a key etc i just would like some specifics about how the registration process works. if i should make sure i dont log on to the web or stuff like that. will it phone home? i know you can put in whatever email but if they come up with my IP then they know where the request originated from. maybe just connect thru a proxy? or if i know what port it will connect on etc. or am i wasting bandwidth here and there is nothing to worry about. put the key in and go?

Well install a personal firewall (eg zone alarm), so you have to grant program access to go on the net.
