i saw it on 60 minutes a little while ago. me and my girlfriend were just staring at it dumbfounded. i mean, i know there are ppl who aren't as supportive of the way America is right now...but even still. we watched as they would ask a question...then the teacher would tell the kids what to say. and the kids would repeat it word for word. everything they do is some form of hailing to their leader. and ppl are either well of, or starving. anyone who thinks that america is bad...take a look at north korea and ask yourself if you'd rather live there. now granted, most of my opinion is based loosely on things i've heard here and there, but most of my current POV on NK comes from watching that short about it. i believe one of the kids/teachers said something about going to war with the american communists to protect the proletariate (?sp?) not those exact words...but something along those lines. as well as rading the diary of anne frank and coming to the conclusion that she's a bad person b/c she didn't fight...she begged for food, and the kids in NK are being taught that the shouldn't...that they should let their pride get in the way of that. and that they should be giving their life for their leader. it's awful stuff. i don't mind the whole, willing to give your life for something greater...but it should be something to be proud of. when a country is telling you what to say, read, do...i don't see how you can be willing to give your life for it. well, that's brainwashign i guess. however, i really would like to hear if someone from this board is from North Korea...however, judging for what i know, they probably aren't aloud to go onto the internet except for certain pro-NK/anti-american sites. but for all i know...i could be completely wrong on this.//
