A Coca Cola promotion which incorporates cell phones and GPS technology into coke cans has some military officials on edge. Their are fears that the cans could be used for eavesdropping. Soldiers have been told to check cans out before meetings.

Wright-Patterson Air Force Base spokeswoman Sue Murphy says: "We've taken measures to make sure everyone's aware of this contest and to make sure devices are cleared before they're taken in" to restricted areas." The Marines have similar warnings.

The CIA once banned Furbies because the toys could repeat peoples' phrases. In their defense, Coca Cola says the cans can only call their prize center and cannot be used for eavesdropping purposes.
