Pensacola City Florida Police officer Shawn Shields went way above and beyond the call of duty when he suggested a 16-year-old girl he had just apprehended in a state of partial undress do Jumping Jacks for his amusement and her release.
The Police Chief fired the officer and he has been ordered to write a letter of apology to the girl. The city fathers are voting on whether to pay $35,000 to the victim in compensation.
The girls boyfriend, also apprehended in a state of embarrassment, was not asked to do jumping jacks by the officer.
