Your old posts count. I dont think that it's the posts from this month, but rather cummulative posts from the beggining of the board.

It would be cool to get a script that just counts the # of posts for each month instead of counting who has the highest post count at the end of each month.

The "script" is the User List script, just click it and sort by posts. If you want to see total posts, choose statistics and it clearly lists the total posts/topics/members for everyone to see. Possibly I miss-understood, oh well.
