I know this was posted this a long time ago, but I just started learning perl for myself, started by reading Learning Perl, and Programming Perl, both O' Reiley published. Those links are great, except for a couple that have been broken up since posted here. I got all of that on cd, yes, the entire texts of both books I just mentioned plus Perl In A Nutshell and an [censored]-load of other perl texts all stored on one cd, including my uncle's notes he took from a perl course last year. If anyone's interested in seeing lemme know ...

Gizmo do you have an ftp site I can upload all the files to? It's all in html format. Let information be vast and plentiful! ... and free wink

I'd have to actually see the information, how large is it? All else fails you can just burn me a copy of it lol...
Posted By: Asteos Re: Perl Tutorials - 02/21/03 09:59 PM
Like I said, it's a load of information on one cd. There are 3 parent folders: PERL_NOTES, PERL_CD_BOOKSHELF_v2, and PERL_CD_BOOKSHELF_v3. In total I have 7,161 files, all equaling 141MB. Now that I think of it, it would be much easier to just burn a copy of it. I want to share it with whoever wants it. So I'll pick up some cd's today and burn you a copy. For each page in the book there is a html file, this also includes the appendix of each book. <img border="0" alt="[thumb]" title="" src="graemlins/thumb.gif" />
