I'm planning on getting all of the old sections rolling again, but instead of the same old crap I was curious, what exactly would you, the users, like to see on an official UGN Security Gaming page?

favourite games section games we play online and maybe host games etc.. have a ugn lan party per say

Realm
Diablo
Diablo: Hellfire
Diablo II
Diablo II: LoD

soon to have Risk ...

How about a gaming server subforum in gaming?

I think that's a horribly gay idea. From what I understand, the focus of this site is computer security. Even hacking, in the sense that many people call it, as in just tinkering and exploring computers. There are a billlion gaming sites out there, no reason to cover gaming here. Also, I can't take any site that runs its own game servers seriously.

i don't plan on running any sort of gaming servers, it'd be an expense that we couldn't afford as is.

As for linking to other game servers with games we do play (diablo II, AoE, Realm, etc) that's another thing...

There's nothing wrong with people sending PMs, or talking in the IRC about hosting games or whatever, to get stuff organized. But to make it a part of UGN? That's fagged

Meh why even have a games section by the sounds of things there is no point.. so i guess it's a no on that front.. :p

you should at least have a general gaming section, and bk you dont have to even look at the topics in there if you dont like gaming.

Although not as strongly opinionated about this as perg I would tend to agree. Hell, there are probably 3-4 sections here that I think are pointless. Well there are a few interesting posts on occasion, they definitely do not fit into the theme of this website. I see creating more game related forums as a bad idea for the fact of detracting even further from the sites topics, which we already have too much of.

Our presant gaming section isn't even that popular, et alone seperating them all...
