I think the lightning bolt should be a little better defined, and possibly make it stretch across the banner a little more.

What program did you use?

photoshop 7

If you ever have any questions on that program let me know.

You might try some more blue clouds.

As you can see...I really suck at photoshop. I just don't know how to make a professional looking ANYTHING. It's fustrating for me.
yeah. and make the clouds horizontal. The words are horizontal... make the clouds horizontal. Don't think of it as "professional" or whatever. Think of it as art, and that everybody has their own particular tastes in art. Just look at it and figure if it's pleasing to the eye. Look to see that it has a theme or style to it, and that that theme or style fits into the style of the website.

And btw... seeing how the banner background is straight up black... and if your website background is straight up black... here's a suggestion. Try to make your banner so that you can't actually see the border lines. Don't cut anything off. Just make the picture appear to be floating on your webpage like it is an unobstructed part of the background or something.

Hmmm

Digital Geek, is that screeming face from Pink Floyd the Wall? If so Rapture could end up sued running that banner... If not my bad man.

Rapture what you have looks good to me, just needs more flare. (Not office space flare) Maybe more lightning and more defined. I am myself no photoshop excepert. But you look like you are off to a good start.

I'm still messing around with it. The lightning effect I actually stumbled upon...I was playing around and it just happened haha.

Digital Geek: That's a tight banner, definitly the action I'm looking for. I'll see how well it goes with the web sites color scheme (dark blue, light blue, black, white). Thanks for all the help guys...really smile

oops, so you can see the scheme http://www.deliriumgaming.com/html/

forgot :p
Make the title "Delirium Gaming" bigger. It doesn't stand out at all.(woops that was for the first banner, I forgot to hit submit before i fell asleep. Now look at all these posts...)
