I'm actually not quite sure. There are sites about it, and I remember one of them having a contest. I have like 3 of them lying around the house, I just haven't hade the motive to go try it....

programming a furby is done through the IR. a type of programming of it can be done with a palm pilot. it was discovered by a remote being pointed at the furby, then the "signals" were recoreded to make a whole library of possibilities that you could "send" the furby. just sit back and keep pressing the "5" button to feed ur furby till he yorks.
