i wasn't sure if this would go in general or here, but we lack a hardware forum, so i chose here. anyway, using spare parts, i'm working on another computer for my family. everything's working, except the mouse. it's an old microsoft serial mouse. i do have a ps/2 mouse, however, the motherboard i have is too old, and doesn't have connections for that. everything else works fine (except the ethernet card, but that's probably the card and not the rest of the computer) i was wondering if anyone has had trouble setting up a serial mouse on a computer. i've tried using both com1 and com2, as well as screwing around w/ the addresses of the ports.//
