if the offer is still valid, I have an old Win98 desktop computer at home- its completely fine except that it still has the orginal 98 (the one that freezes) on it. I never had to upgrade to 98 SE before I got a new computer. Right now its just sitting at home, wasting space. I also have the keyboard and mouse that came with it.
