Google /*code Search*/ - 10/05/06 12:59 PM

Google has just released a new search tool to help programmers learn from others. It is still part of google labs so they are not yet running ads on it. The tool supports regular expresion searches. Having tryed it out...

I found it to be quite handy. Googles' own coders have used this internaly for some time to help speed projects along. The Company is hoping it will be used as a learning tool and not a code stealing tool. To try it out go to http://www.google.com/codesearch

There is no use of reinventing the wheel. So I think this thing is good. After all one can start from where the other one left. This will give some nice codes to the world tommorrow. But I think there should be restrictions for the quality of the codes, not for the content of the code.
