is there any way i could merge a picture file or somethign with another misc file :x. So it looks like a picture but when it is executed it will..... <img border="0" alt="[Devil]" title="" src="graemlins/devil.gif" />

it's fairly easy. Just make a program using a pic image for it's icon. then you can hide all EXE extentions by adding "NeverShowExt" to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\ in the registry and name it blah.jpg.exe. The program may also execute a real image in IE or something to keep up the trick.

Otherwise, find a utility which can replace EXE icons then do the .exe hiding trick.

btw, Moffesto, that won't work if u send it to someone else unless they have the same setting in their registry(unlikely) or they open the program and it adds the key to the registry before they realize what it was. smirk

Someone posted about this awhile ago, I doubt the post is still around though. But they named a program that could allow you to put code in image files. The name is right on the tip of my tong but I just can't quite remember it. Does anyone?

yeah you can do that with a prog. I just can't think of the name....ummm damnit. You don't have to do registry changes or anything. It runs the pic but it looks [censored] up. Some guys tried this for a virus cloak on Kazaa it was kinda funny actually.

EliteWrap

google it, its a trojan disguiser - well it will do anything but it was originally written for that purpose and it gives u a good amount of options on what to do when executed
