If a video is embeded, is there a way that I can download it onto my compter so I do not need to open up the URL to view it. I viewed the source of the page, and the file is located at: http://www.cart.com/Content/Videos/2003/Win/20030713_Toronto_SD00.asx
Any help would be appreciated thx.

After you view anything on the internet, look in your temporary internet files and get it from there. You may want to sort the folder by internet address so that you can scroll to the proper website. You can also sort by type to target specific media types.

So much easier than you thought I'm sure.
wow, that is alot easier. thx
Is ther a way of getting it without watching the 2 hours first?

Now, this may not work with certain MMS streams, but you can still try.

Googled

ASF Recorder:
http://www.divx-digest.tv/software/encode/ASFRecorder_11.zip

Streambox VCR:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_tools/streambox_vcr.cfm [also has a manual]

I am a big fan of VCDHelp.com/DVDRHelp.com. If you have any questions relating to video, they are the places to ask.
