Uh... recently (like yesterday) I downloaded UGN's IP tools and... I don't understand any of it, could someone help me out?

First off, its not "our" ip tools, it was developed elsewhere. "ours" is not for public download and is still in development.

Lol, I wasn't taking offence, I was just stating that we didn't develop the one up for download.

I ve been using it for a while so ill tell you a little about it. ( even though gizmo could tell it better)
Local info-stuff about your computer
Connections-the ips of stuff youre connected to, what port, and the status of the connection ex: closing, listening, established, etc
Net bios- tells you net bios info if net bios is enabled on the machine
NB scanner-file and print sharing
Name scanner- computer name or DNS lookup
Port Scanner- scans for open ports on a machine
Ping-pings a machine
trace- traces the route to a machine
whois- dns look up, dns servers, and administrative contact info
get time- gets the time from a time server
telnet-telnet
hostmonitor-verifies that a host is active

Hope this helps man, if you figure ip-tools out it is a great program
