OK, I am trying to figure something out with .mpeg and general media files, but cannot find the answer anywhere. Have posted in many forums, but I think I am just not getting to the places which have experienced and/or knowledgeable users. I have downloaded quite a few video files recently which say they need a license in order for you to view the file. This is a bunch of crap since all of the stuff it requires you to install is malware, hijackers and whatnot. When you open the file, it will say acquiring license and a window will come up. After a while, it will prompt you to install quite a few infected crap like 180Search and whatnot. It is only after having these things installed and running on your computer that you can view the video. I know for a fact that these things were not in the original file, but were added by someone during the distributing process. Since it is possible to add stuff like that in there, then it is certainly possible to go the other way, right? To crack the video file again, extract that out of there and there you go, you have a clean file. Anybody know how to do this? Anyone know of a website which would cover this?
How can it be DRM if it wasn't in the file to begin with? I guess I'm not 100% positive that it wasn't in there, but what kind of file comes with malware?
Someone added the DRM once they got it. Like you they downloaded it off the net then added DRM and then re-released it for you. If you read what I posted as far as links you would understand.

[censored] you too!! FYI I did look at those links. How do you know I didn't? Just because I asked that question? Those links talked nothing about that. All of those are just talking about DRM which is integrated into WM10 and SP2 which I already knew. Some of them where reviewing some people who tried to get around it but ultimately ended up in jail. You're right I didn't dig really deep, but certainly would've been more work than just asking you that question right? Show some respect man! and be thankful we are not on the street. Something chaps me too. Computer nerds who think they know everything hiding behind their computers in their mom's basement swearing and cussing at everyone they can because they know they won't get the [censored] kicked out of them.
