The Ronald Reagan Dime Act is circulating in Congress and has 89 co-sponsors. Rep. Mark Souder, R-Indiana, introduced the bill in response to a canceled CBS movie which conservatives say portrayed Reagan in an unfavorable light.

Conservatives backing the bill say Reagan is more current compared to Franklyn Delano Roosevelt who they say is known for big government and the New Deal. They say Reagan's policies of small government and his anti-communism reflect today's society.

Souder says: "He, to conservatives, represents kind of the reverse of FDR, who is kind of the liberal icon. Ronald Reagan is the conservative icon." FDR has been on the dime since 1956 and Reagan has to die for this bill to be considered.

Mark Souder, what a queer. I'm ashamed of everyone here that voted for him. This whole thing is a joke. Reagan was a 10th to this country of what FDR was. Have you seen this Souder clown? He looks like a cross between Hitler and Conan O'Brien, scary.
