Rock star Meat Loaf, most famed for his "Bat Out Of Hell" hit, has been taken to hospital after collapsing in the middle of a sold out concert.
Monday night's concert, at London's Wembley Arena, was sold out, and the preformer tried to go back on stage to continue, but was taken to the nearest hospital on the advice of paramedics.
The 56-year-old singer "collapsed from exhaustion due to a prolonged viral infection. It is not life-threatening," a spokesman said. "Meat Loaf will be re-evaluated by doctors today and further information about his status will be made available."
