A report in the Wall Street Journal today has stated that the Microsoft Corporation are planning to cut the price of their video console, the Xbox, by US$30, to US$149.
The WSJ also said that MS has plans to bundle the consol system with its Halo shooting game and sell them together for US$169. Retailers have been calling for a price cut for both the Xbox and Sony's PS2 this year.
Reuters has quoted industry executives as stating that price cuts were expected by May this year.
