Eight year old Craig Collins Jr, who had stepped outside his grandmother's home to try to catch a praying mantis in a jar, was killed in a hail of gunfire. His 25 year old cousin, Freddie Pitts, was wounded in the shooting Wednesday, Oct 12th.

Investigators say they don't know what the motive for the shooting was, however relatives say it was pay back for the family's efforts in reporting drug dealers in their neighborhood.

Police say they believe there was more than one shooter. An aunt, Charlotte Webb, said the family had been warned as recently as Wednesday afternoon, having been told that "they" were "going to come back and do something".

It's bullshit man. You've got these [censored] up scumbags making the neighborhood unsafe, and then when someone tries to do something about it, an innocent little kid dies.

Bush is right, we need to fight the war on terror. But it's gotta be the terror in our own neighborhoods, not thousands of miles away.

This makes me sad frown

i [censored] hate drugs and how the government does nothing to really prevent the use of them yet they go to war to get alittle bit of oil

Actually the government need drugs in our country. The war on drugs employees many many Us citezens. DEA for example would have no real reason to exist if it were not for the large number of drugs coming into this country. But here is the kicker. If they do thier job and stop drug trafficing... Politicians will cut funding as less drugs mean less need for agents.

Many a special project I imagine has been funded by the sales of narcotics. But should a 30 year old man with a wife and child or children go to jail for 6 months, loose his job, house, car, children over a dime bag of weed? I think not. Crack, coke, heroin, PCP, meth, opium I think yes arrest that person.

LSD, weed, Mushrooms, I think no. It is natral (LAD comes from fungus that grows on rye(Yes I know cocke, opium and heroin are very close to natral))

Thats total crap. The governments do not need drugs to employ its citizens. The country has a problem that needs to be fixed, not ignored.
The amount of money wasted on narcotics economically would do more harm to a civil society then good. Imagine the costs of housing drug addicts and such in state prisons while people like those that got stuck in New Orleans suffer without shelter. The governments would rather there be no drugs then to have them fund these imaginary projects you speak of.

Yea I guess you are right. I mean it isn't like they would sell us out for some lab study on nuclear radiation or some such.

Look up DEA scandles and Border partrol scandles. Do you really belive the government wants this country 100% drug free? I mean look at all the money out there on the war against drugs and the money to be made selling them.
