http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gamecube/

It has been a while since I looked into this, but has anyone else been following this sceen? I now see there are several emulators out there for the game cube. This got me thinking people like visage probably creamed thier pants because now they can develop thier own games for GC. I thought I would look into it.

I found this development platform for Linux
http://www.libsdl.org/index.php
SDL I guess is used for many games on the Linux platform. I know you can code PlayStation games in Linux, but what about game cube?

I found these guys http://www.gamedev.org

They seem to know nothing about GameCube Development except that it is expensive to get into. There must be cheap ways to do it though. I mean there are emulators, home brew games. Are any of you into this?

Not I, but I have heard of manufacturers providing hardware and software for writing games in the past; never really thought much of it though...

this hardware and software is expensive bud. Sony had the linux kit for ps2, but that is rare.
