when i called macafee about how every time i log on my system nothing of the macafee setings are the same for example i change back to child when i put adult or when i put dont alow web bugs to alow web bugs
when i called makafee they said it has nothing to do with there software. when i caled microsoft they said it has nothing to do wiht sp2 and i just instaled it a week ago and this started a week ago so any ideas

Download Spybot Search and Destroy, and adaware ce. Google them. Run a spyware scan, and run a virus scan, there are alot of free online virus scans. You are right some spyware or viruses can change your antivirus settings so start there.

Also, I used to work as tech support my main goal was to get customers off the phone as soon as possible! Which ment telling them anything that would get them off the phone.

Basically you bought their software, its not working how you want it to. So Call McAffe back, tell them what microshaft said, if they start giving you the run around ask for a supervisor til you get the results you want. Thats about all you can do.
