Well The Rule of Four is kind of like the Da Vinci Code in many respects.
But where the Da Vinci Code focuses on the biblical realities between the church and the Holy Grail, The Rule of Four focuses more on the academic side of the relationship the church had with scholars and members of secret societies.
The Holy Grail in this book refers to actual academic works that was banned by the church.
Works by Michaelangelo, Donatello, Gerdi that to this day have actually never seen the light of day... (literally)
