For the second time in a month, a west suburban teenager has been arrested for allegedly trying to hack into a school computer.

Aurora police Thursday charged Matthew Schiro, 18, of Naperville with computer tampering, a misdemeanor, authorities said. Schiro tried to hack into Waubonsie Valley High School computers using a program he had downloaded from the Internet, police said. When he activated the password program, a virus program blocked his attempt and alerted the school district to the computer, account number and password he was using, police said.

Schiro's arrest comes just weeks after two Hinsdale Central High School students allegedly were breaking into that school's database.
