A 21 year old man in Tennessee died after he was tasered up to 19 times by police officers. He had been thrown out of a Cannery row bar. He then stripped off his clothes, ran down the street and two police officers batoned and shocked him.

Nashville Metro Police supervisors will be the only ones allowed to use the tasers and will be trained. A June 28 bulletin from Taser International to police warned about the potentially effects of repeated shocks of people with "excited delirium."

Excited delirium is drug induced agitation. Metro police sent the notice out but did not modify police department policy regarding Tasers.
