well said Pred. i agree

look at atari.. it had some of the best games ever (in my opinion) and the graphics aren't the best. but that doesn't matter because the game itself was awesome. in my experience the games that feel the need to have these hardcore graphics are just making up for crappy game content. but that's just me. and i'm a girl.. so i could be wrong.

I've never played the gamecube but I'm gonna have to agree it looks pretty kiddy. Now I may have misunderstood the ad, but the first game I saw advertized for it was where Mario goes around a world and, uh, cleans stuff up. Um, yeah. The mario games have all been awesome, but that was a little too dumb sounding for me. The new zelda game looks awesome and if i could afford it I'd probably buy a gamecuube just to play it. fortunatly, my friend has a gamecube so i'm just gonna wait till they buy it. The coolest game ever is Earthbound, for SNES. I wish i still had a copy of that.

Just curious you console gurus. I know of several reasons to buy a GameCube. I realize nintendo licenses a few games exclusively that can get ppl to buy the entire system, just for them.

Ex. Metroid Prime/Zeldas/Mario

So, does XBox have any titles rivaling gamecube that are good enough to purchase its console?
